I’ve mainly stuck with the translucent Pear flavor, but have tried a couple of the others as well. The balm is a cross between a balm and a gloss and has a really nice consistency. It’s not too sticky and not too heavy, but it does give a good shiny gloss. Aside from if you’re eating, this balm lasts a long time and the squeeze tube style makes it easy to throw in your purse and carry it with you.
This has been one of my go-to’s for awhile now. I’ve tried many others along the way, but always come back to this and the Lip Sleeping Mask.

My oldest sister gifted a travel size version of this moisturizer to me as a little stocking stuffer last Christmas. She swore her and her husband loved this moisturizer so she wanted me to try it out too.
I’ll admit, at first I was a little weirded out by the jelly like texture and thought it would be sticky like it looked.
After a single use, I was won over by this moisturizer. It’s super watery, so a little goes a long way. The application is very smooth and your skin will drink it right up. This left my face and neck feeling so soft and supple. I like that it’s on the lighter side which makes it a great summer moisturizer.
Let’s say we live in a world where all jobs pay the same and money isn’t a factor. What would your dream job be?
For me, it’s an interior designer. I don’t know what it is about interior design, but I thoroughly enjoy it. From picking flooring and paint colors to furnishings and artwork, I have always found the design process to be exciting and enjoyable.
Whenever anyone finds out my dream job, the first question is always, “why don’t you become an interior designer then?” I can think of a number of answers off the top of my head, but I think the #1 reason is fear. I’ve managed to make interior design a sort of “job” through rehabbing real estate investments, but I feel like in the long run it doesn’t provide me as much income or security as my past or current industries. Moving to a lower income bracket is always scary, so I have always just kept it as a hobby. My other fear is being an actual interior designer for a business would ruin
Anyways, I would love to hear what your dream job is too. If you’re not already working your dream job, let me know what you think is stopping you.
One of my sisters bought this for me for Christmas at my request. I read a little about dry brushing and wanted to give it a shot. According to what I read, with skin dry before you shower, you’re supposed to start at your feet and move up your body gently with circular, clockwise movements. Go real light on areas like your chest where skin is more sensitive. Do your arms last, and brush upwards towards your armpits. Don’t take a super hot shower afterwards…just use lukewarm or cool water.
I dry brush no more than once a week. It definitely helps with exfoliation, but I feel like any more than once a week is too harsh on my skin. I always make sure to moisturize really well after dry brushing, because it does seem to dry my skin out more.
Since I have seen a noticeable improvement, I can say I recommend dry brushing to others. I haven’t tried a wide assortment of dry brushes, so I can only recommend the one I have tried from OSEA. Just remember to be gentle!
We were out and about in the area and thought it would be good to go for a walk. My sister found Fullersburg Woods nearby on Google Maps, so we parked up and picked a random trail to follow.
Fullersburg Woods Forest Preserve was a really nice place to get a good walk. There was a lot to see and for a fidgety person like myself, it’s nice to have a lot to look at. There’s a 3.2 mile loop you can walk and come across different sights. We saw a lot of interesting birds and some deer while we were there. I got a good photo of an egret while we were there too.
My parents are nearby, so I would definitely go back. It’s a nice, short walk with a lot to see. It’s well maintained and was large enough to be distanced from others. Definitely bring bug spray. It was pretty buggy throughout.
Check out some of the photos I took during our walk in Fullersburg Woods.
